Akhter Bowl gave me the chance to play in the tournament last year, despite the tournament being a "Mens". Being the first girl to ever play in the Akhter Bowl, I was not only welcomed, but EMBRACED and respected not just as a female football player, but as a football player period. No gender boundaries, no discrimination. Akhter Bowl is part of the movement to break down barriers. The tournament is well run, fun to play in and filled with a group of competitive ballers. Can't wait to continue to be apart of something big.

I've participated in The Akhter Bowl tournaments since its inception. Every tournament has improved in terms of opponent skill, execution of the tournament, professionalism and overall experience. The Akhter Bowl excels at being reliable with making sure you know exactly what you are paying for. If you've never participated in an Akhter Bowl and you have that weekend free, you should strongly consider putting in a team.

The Akhter Bowl Tournament was sick. Saw some new faces and some familiar ones too. Competition was pretty intense and had some tough games. Glad my friend asked to play cuz I had tons of fun. Definitely looking forward to the next one.

I love playing in the Akhter Bowl Tournament every year because I get to get a group of friends together & have some fun. I like the jersey aspect the most because we get to personalize names & numbers on them.

Since playing in The 2017 Akhter Bowl, my team has had a chance to match up against some of the more competitive teams across the GTA. It's always fun catching up with some of the athletes we have competed against in the past and meeting new players. The Akhter Bowl is a lot of fun and highly competitive, I'm going to be there gunning for the chip, are you?
